As our (Senior) Finance Manager (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in shaping Workpath’s financial strategy and driving key initiatives across fundraising, reporting, and investor relations. This role goes beyond traditional finance functions; you will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, aligning internal and external stakeholders while influencing critical business decisions.
You will work closely with our Managing Director Stephanie and the leadership team to develop and execute our financial strategy, improve reporting and forecasting capabilities, and support sustainable growth through proactive financial planning and accountability.
As owner of our core financial processes you will work with the Finance team and our tax consultants to ensure accuracy in our financial foundation as well as compliance with existing regulations.

Finance Business Partner: Be a strong business partner for the whole organisation, from sales, marketing, to product, tech and people (incl. monthly budget check-ins and business review with leadership team). Work closely with RevOps to derive right insights and influence decision-making across the business on go-to market, pricing, compensation.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Budgeting & Financial Planning: Drive the budgeting process and provide actionable financial insights for decision-making.
Rolling Forecasts: Maintain and improve rolling forecasts with variance analysis, integrating cashflow insights and ensuring alignment with budgets.
Cashflow Management: Monitor and forecast cashflow to ensure liquidity and support strategic planning.
Investor Relations: Prepare monthly investor updates and respective input for quarterly board meetings, independently and at an always high quality level. Enhance reporting capabilities to ensure accuracy, transparency, and actionable insights.
Accounting & Compliance: Lead monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate financial statements in collaboration with auditors and tax consultants.
Accounts Payable: Own and manage the AP process, authorize payments, and manage treasury tasks, including bank accounts.
Accounts Receivable & Revenue Recognition: Own and manage the AR process, ensuring accurate invoicing and revenue recognition for software and services.
Excellent knowledge in finance (we’re aiming for outcome oriented financial operations and strategy, not only standard reporting)
3-5 years relevant work experience (finance / controlling / consulting with focus on finance), experience in SaaS startup is a plus
