We are looking for a motivated Working Student - Information Security (m/f/d) to support our Engineering team at Workpath. In this role, you will assist with and take ownership of  processes related to Information Security, prepare for regular ISO 27001 security audits,  figure out how to leverage AI in order to make work on our ISMS (Information Security Management System) more efficient and take over general IT tasks.

You will work closely with our CTPO (Chief Technology and Product Officer).

If you have a keen interest in cybersecurity, IT governance, and AI-driven automation, this role will give you valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic SaaS company.

Information Security

• Assist with and take ownership of processes which are part of our ISMS: Information security training, risk management, management review, pen tests etc.

• Support in InfoSec audits (ISO27001, TISAX, customer audits) and auditor relations.

• Explore the use of AI-driven tools for a variety of use cases (e.g. for the ISMS) across the company in order to make Workpath more effective and efficient.

IT & Operations

• Assist with managing company laptops and phones, and general IT requests.

• Review new tools and processes to assess risks and InfoSec compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure and compliant IT operations.

We don’t expect you to be an expert—what matters most is your curiosity, motivation, and willingness to learn. However, you’re a great fit if you have:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of information security principles, and interest to learn more.

• Interest in AI and automation.

• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.

• Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written).

• Hands-on experience in Information Security & AI at a fast-growing SaaS company.
